KGALAGADI TRANSFRONTIER PARK INFORMATION:

Famous for its desert scenery, wildlife and birdlife. Not one of Botswana's popular National Parks due to its location, but on saying that it is very popular from the South African side. Reason for this is quite simple:
* The roads from within Botswana are not that good and access is poor while a 4x4 is required
* There is a tarred road leading right to the entrance from the South African side

The Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park is the largest conservation area in Southern Africa and bridges both South Africa and Botswana. The landscape is dotted with red sand dunes and semi-desert vegetation making this an photographers paradise - provided you get up early enough in the morning, when the temperatures start climbing the environment becomes very harsh as far as light is concerned and the wildlife takes refuge.

The wildlife on view consists of:
* Springbok
* Oryx
* Blue Wildebeest
* Black-maned Kalahari Lion
* Cheetah
* Leopard
