The use of a light aircraft to transport you between safari lodges is without a doubt the most popular way for our clients to travel. Most of the safari lodges that we feature on Wildbotswana.com are only accessible in only by aircraft when the Okavango Delta is in full flood, not to forget the distances between destinations; an example of this being Chobe National Park to the Okavango Delta, by road 1 full days drive, by aircraft 2 -3 hours. Yes, these safari are more expensive than those that use traditional safari vehicles, but when looking to maximize time spend at your destination there is honestly no better way to get there.
